Is It Time to Say Goodbye to the Disc and Other Physical Media?
The way we consume media is changing rapidly. It wasn’t long ago that someone wanting to watch a movie had to run out to their favorite local store or movie rental place to grab a disc. If one wanted to listen to their favorite bands new album, a trip to the store to get a CD was required. Even video games on disc seem to be fading, with people buying games on Steam, and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox Oneboth offering the ability to buy games digitally.
